Why do I need lubricating grease and O-rings?

This set from Eccellente contains grease and O-rings for a Siemens Bosch coffee or espresso machine. This maintenance kit keeps the brewing mechanism and moving parts of your coffee machine clean and healthy. Regular use of this set from Eccellente reduces the risk of damage to your coffee machine.

O-rings in coffee or espresso machines should be replaced from time to time. If you don’t replace them in time, the machine will leak water and potentially damage your machine. That is why we recommend replacing the O-rings once a year and lubricate  the O-rings every month.

– 1 Tube of lubricating grease for Siemens Bosch, 10 grams
– 1 Small O-ring, dimensions: 9 x 9 x 2 mm
– 1 Large O-ring, dimensions: 48 x 48 x 4 mm

Instructions

Step 1. First remove the coffee residues from the coffee unit and clean the upper filter with running water.
Step 2. Then remove the old O-rings and insert the new O-rings.
Step 3. Put a little bit of grease on your finger and lubricate the brew group with the Eccellente lubricating grease and spread the grease evenly on the moving parts (see drawing in the manual included with this product).
Step 4. Place the brew group back into you coffee or espresso machine.
